Truckers Helping Truckers

Supporting the Great American Trucker and their families, coast to coast.

Our Story

Behind the wheel of these trucks are individuals whose dedication and resilience often go unnoticed. Truckers are the livelihood of our nation and beyond, tirelessly navigating the highways.

On June 30, 2010, DT King was involved in a devastating head-on collision with another truck. After fighting for months against complications from the accident, DT passed away on November 3, 2010. During those difficult six months, Joan King and her family remained by his side every step of the way.

In times like these, families face not only emotional pain, but also overwhelming financial burdens. Medical bills, household expenses, and lost income can quickly become devastating. Unfortunately, situations like this happen every day within the trucking industry, leaving many families without the support they need.

The DT & Joan King Foundation was created to help truck drivers and their families during times of unexpected hardship. Our mission is to provide financial assistance, encouragement, and support to those affected by tragedy within the trucking community.
